Bobby F. Keener, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer
As an executive-level leader in the private, non-profit and public sectors Bobby has provided leadership in the areas of Innovation, Cybersecurity, Data, Technology, and Education to Fortune 100 companies; large non-profits; local governments; state and national agencies; the national intelligence community; and schools and universities. As Chief Technology Innovations Officer at the Virginia Department of Education Bobby was nationally recognized as a Top 25 innovative technology leader by EdScoop.com for his technology and cybersecurity initiatives. He has also served as a Governor’s appointee to the Virginia IT Advisory Council (ITAC), overseen technology infrastructure services for over seventy state agencies, is a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Cyber Center Advisory Board, and co-Chairs the national Generate Data Governance Group. Bobby has also founded multiple inter-agency state advisory committees/councils and serves on other prominent national advisory councils/boards. As a consultant he has advised organizations as diverse as Google, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Harrah’s Casino. Bobby is a veteran of the United States Army where he was a Non-Commissioned Officer, Certified Jungle Operations Expert and recipient of the Humanitarian Services Medal.

With a passion for digital transformation, Walter brings 20 years’ experience driving business innovation through the application of digital strategies, with a demonstrated ability to quickly assess business situations and define sales and marketing strategies that have helped Fortune 500 companies reinvent business processes, improve operational excellence and increase customer engagement. Most recently he served as Chief Innovation Officer at an innovation management software company where he led internal and external innovation solutions for clients like Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Campbell Soup Company, The J.M. Smucker Company, WD-40, Booz Allen Hamilton, Helen of Troy, Vista Outdoor and International Flavors & Fragrances. Before that he served as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Chase, where has helped to define and deliver developed digital solutions that delivered industry leading business outcomes and customer experiences.
Lynn McDaniel

Lynn is a recognized leader in technology and operations management, and business development. She has served in leadership positions at the Center for Innovative Technology, the Virginia governor’s office, Advantus Strategies LLC, WorldView Solutions Inc. and Virginia Interactive LLC. Throughout Lynn’s career she has successfully managed corporate strategic relationships and spearheaded the implementation of business solutions that support seamless integration of government and private sector partners, and expanded business opportunities. Lynn serves as a member and leader on multiple boards as well as holding a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of West Alabama and an MBA with a Computer Science concentration from Auburn University.
Ed Gooding
Business Development Manager
Ed brings more than four decades of experience as a successful I.T. entrepreneur and consultant to CTE. For the last ten years, he has provided business, I.T. strategy, and data management consultation services to a variety of clients including the U.S. Army, large healthcare organizations, banking, and public/private enterprises. Before that, and for 30 years, Ed was the CEO of a large I.T. staffing and consulting practice that served nine Fortune 500, 14 Fortune 1000, and many local, state, and federal clients. His firm was twice named as one of the “Rising 25” fastest-growing privately held businesses in Richmond, Virginia. Ed serves his community as a Chief Officer of Elections, Chairman of the advisory board to the Dept. of Social Services, and as a Jury Commissioner. He has long volunteered services to mentor military veterans in starting or running their small businesses and has counseled retiring military pilots on how to transition to the civilian corporate world with advice on resume construction, interviewing techniques, and information on prospective employers.
