Join a New Mentor Program this Fall to Enhance Your Resume and Learn More About Cybersecurity!

Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) has partnered again with CTEWorkforce to provide high school and college students with a unique opportunity! College students will mentor a high school student interested in cybersecurity through the Technology Enabled Engagement and Mentoring ™ (TEEM) program.

During the eight-week program, students will learn about:

  • The College Experience (Time Management, Discipline, and More)
  • Important Cybersecurity Classes and Topics
  • Cybersecurity Tools and Skills
  • Career Development and Industry Preparation
  • Generative AI

College mentors will help students grow their cyber knowledge-base while strengthening their professional soft skills. Mentor meetings are only one hour per week, based on your schedule. High school students will have the chance to preview university life and connect with college students to guide them through the transition from high school to college.

TEEM is a great way to contribute to the future of cybersecurity while enhancing your resume with a certificate signed by the CCI president, Luiz DaSilva. Compensation will be provided to mentors.

The application deadline is Wednesday, September 25, 2024, and will begin on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
